Modelling the violin was exceptionally difficult, as a violin is already such a refined form and heavily based on the golden ratio. Getting the proportions exactly correct was vital.

The final design has been created using traditional spruce and ebony for the neck, head and fingerboard. The main body of the violin is made from frosted acrylic, which houses the electrical components of the design. The interface has been primarily designed around an 8 channel equalizer which would allow the player to precisely control the sound of the instrument.
